These Terms & Conditions govern use of the Unbox Moves website by customers, visitors, and removal companies. By using the website, you agree to these terms.
1. Service description
Unbox Moves provides a platform that helps customers request quotes and connect with removal companies. We are not a party to the separate removal contract formed between the customer and a removal company unless explicitly stated.
2. Customer quote requests
Customers must provide accurate information when requesting quotes or services. Quote requests may be shared with up to 5 removal companies so they can review the lead, contact the customer, and prepare quotes or bookings.
3. Removal company obligations
Removal companies using the platform must keep customer data confidential, use it only for servicing the lead, booking, survey, quote, or order workflow, comply with applicable UK laws, and follow the data handling rules published on the Removal Company Privacy & Data Handling page.
Before a removal company account is activated, the applicant may be required to provide business details, trading information, and supporting documents such as driving licence, goods in transit insurance, public liability insurance, employers' liability insurance, operator licence, or waste carrier registration depending on the services offered.
By submitting a partner registration, the applicant confirms that the information provided is accurate and agrees to the Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Removal Company Privacy & Data Handling rules.
4. Acceptable use
- do not misuse the website or attempt unauthorised access;
- do not scrape, resell, export, or share lead data outside the permitted workflow;
- do not send spam, misleading messages, or unlawful marketing through the platform;
- do not upload malicious code, harmful files, or inaccurate business information.
5. Payments and subscriptions
Subscription, lead, and order charges are subject to the pricing shown in the relevant account area. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, totals shown in billing and order reporting may include VAT. The internal product flow may reference subscriptions and auto top-up together because those features operate together.
6. Data protection
Personal data is handled in line with the Privacy Policy. Customers and removal companies must not use personal data for any purpose outside the platform workflow unless they have their own lawful basis.
7. Intellectual property
Website content, branding, software, and layouts remain the property of Unbox Moves or its licensors unless otherwise stated.
8. Availability and changes
We may update, suspend, or improve website features at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, but we aim to keep the platform reasonably available and secure.
9. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the platform is provided on an "as available" basis. Customers should carry out their own checks before appointing a removal company. Removal companies remain responsible for their own quotations, services, staff, vehicles, compliance, and customer communications.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales unless mandatory local law requires otherwise.
